Following on from the spectacular success of GTEC 08, Foremost Golf can announce that GTEC 09 will be held at The Harrogate Convention Centre from November 1st – 3rd.

Last year over 500 Golf Professionals attended the GTEC 08 conference making it a great event for the Golf Professionals and the over 54 Brands, including all the majors, that attended.

The feedback on GTEC 08 received from the Golf Professionals highlighted the importance and practical relevance of the many educational seminars that were run. This reflects a positive desire to improve the knowledge and effectiveness of the Golf Professional as an Equipment expert, a Custom fitter, a Teacher, a Retailer, Marketer and Commercial Manager.

GTEC 09 will feature further and more extensive educational programmes that cover both the commercial and technical aspects of: running a teaching business; making the Professional an accomplished fitter and translating that into profit; merchandise management to create improved cash flow; range selection to drive customers and increase profit; and managing your business.

GTEC is also a place where Professionals can review the Supplier product ranges and plans for 2010. While the value of that meeting place for ordering might have diminished a little, the requirement to get the best possible insight into the product technology and how it should be marketed and sold has increased.
