In the campaign to empower the greens grass PGA Professional, Foremost Golf decided
for the first time to run four regional educational workshops in addition to the
annual GTEC show. These educational workshops, formally known as the “Spring Shows”
were a first time success for Foremost, receiving an attendance of over 300 PGA
Professionals at the four days and much positive feedback being received.
The Spring Shows included five educational components with the aim of empowering
the PGA Professional to fight back against the High Street and to trade better in
difficult times. The educational seminars included, Trading better in a tight economy,
Making the most from your fitting business, Generating increased sales with in-store
campaigns, Merchandising for better results and Managing your stock and sales.

International Merchandising Consultant; Paul Hedges, PGA Professional and CEO of
