FG Tour Irons, Wilson’s First Cavity Back Blade

The cavity-back forging on the FG Tour earned an instant recognition around the world. Its powerful ball flight and trajectory control earned the FG Tour a spot in the bags of Padraig Harrington and Ricky Barnes. Golf Digest named it a Hot List winner, hailing "any low-to-mid handicapper will benefit from this club."  FG Tour. Wilson's first cavity-back blade.

Major winner Paul Lawrie continues success with FG Tour irons to move into world’s top 50.

Lawrie’s victory, the second Qatar Masters win of his career, marks a successful relationship with the Wilson Staff FG Tour irons since resigning with the famous manufacturer in 2010 – a period that has brought a first title in nine years at the 2011 Open de Andalucia, as well as earnings of more than €1 million in last season’s Race to Dubai.

Commenting on Lawrie’s impressive showing in Qatar, Wilson Golf’s Business Director for Europe, Doug Wright said: “We’re very pleased to see Paul winning so soon after his excellent year in 2011 and delighted that it captures another victory with the Wilson Staff FG Tour irons. As Paul says, he’s been playing very well for a while now and we hope to see him continue this fine form for the rest of the season.”
